COLUMBUS RADIO, INC. is selling Oldies WJCP-A/NORTH VERNON, IN to TOM TAYLOR AND DIANA TAYLOR for $70,000. The deal, originally reached in 2011, is part of a settlement of a civil dispute over the sale of land by JOHN W. SCHULER and BARBARA W. SCHULER to MARTY PIERATT (PIERATT COMMUNICATIONS/COLUMBUS RADIO, INC.), in which the TAYLORS are now to pay $45,000 plus 6% per year for part of the land and $25,000 plus 4% per annum for 36 months for another portion. The TAYLORS have operated the station under an LMA since 2011.
In other filings with the FCC, LATINOS BROADCASTING ORGANIZATION is transferring low power FM WBVL-LP/BUENA VENTURA LAKES, FL to THE BROADCASTING GROUP, INC. for $40,000 (the depreciated fair market value of equipment).
