YESTERDAY (6/3), ALL ACCESS caught up with BIGGER PICTURE’s CRAIG CAMPBELL prior to his "2nd ANNUAL CELEBRITY CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT" to benefit the TJ MARTELL FOUNDATION (NET NEWS 4/29). The event featured celebrity contenders CAMPBELL, CHASE RICE, JERROD NIEMANN, LEE BRICE, PARMALEE, THE CADILLAC THREE, RACHEL BRADSHAW, CHELSEA BAIN, ROB BIRONAS, CHAD WARRIX, and BLACKJACK BILLY.
In an exclusive ALL ACCESS interview, CRAIG opened up about the restructuring of BIGGER PICTURE (NET NEWS 5/8), in which he said, "BIGGER PICTURE is technically still in business. MICHAELS POWERS, DAVID ROBKIN, and MATT CORBIN are still working my song. It’s #9, it’s still growing and it’s still going up the charts. So technically we’re still open, but who knows. We’re still working on it, and we hope to get it all figured out within the next week or so."
He went on to comment about the support that he has seen from radio, and other record labels. "You know, over the past four years, I’ve developed really good relationships with Country radio" and man, when that press release came out, I had people texting me, and FACEBOOK-ing me, just saying ‘Hey bro, don’t worry about it. The song (Keep Them Kisses Comin’) is a hit song, and we’re not going to stop playing it just because you don’t have a record label. Don’t even worry about it ... And other record labels have told me, ‘We got you bro. Don’t worry,’ said CAMPBELL.
This year, some new features were added to CRAIG’s annual "CELEBRITY CORN HOLE CHALLENGE’ in an effort to double the amount of money raised. Bringing in more than $15,000 for TJ MARTELL FOUNDATION last year, the addition of a FAN ZONE and fan auction to compete with the celebrities, put the CORN HOLE competition on track to double that amount this year. CRAIG said that he was paired up with fan HEATH GARNER who bid $610 to play on his team, while CHASE RICE topped the bids at $700. "It’s all going to TJ MARTELL, so I am happy! I wish everybody would have went for $1000!" he concluded.
