CRTC Report: Canadian Radio Revenue Flat In '13

The CRTC's annual radio revenue report for CANADA's 685 commercial radio stations says that for the broadcast year that ended on AUGUST 31, 2013, revenues rose 0.26% to C$1.623 billion, with profits before interest and taxes (PBIT) up slightly from C$321 million to C$328 million.
FM radio revenues were up slightly from C$1.31 billion to C$1.33 billion. English-language FMs saw a 1.31% increase to C$1.05 billion, while French-language stations were up 0.5% to C$253.2 million and ethnic FMs rose 4.3% to C$21.1 million.
AM radio revenues fell 3.8% to C$294.6 million in 2013.
