ALL ACCESS made the LOUISIANA connection YESTERDAY (6/5) after speaking with SIDEWALK RECORDS artist DYLAN SCOTT and A&E television “DUCK DYNASTY” reality star SI ROBERTSON.
SI, also known as “UNCLE SI,” recently released a Country album titled “Me And My Smoking Hot Honey,” which includes a duet with KIX BROOKS. He recorded the album as a surprise to his wife of 43 years, CHRISTINE, to be played at their vow-renewal.
ALL ACCESS asked SI if he plans to pursue Country music any further and what’s next for him.
“Only the good LORD knows,” said SI. “I do love to sing, and laugh. All my life people have told me ‘look, you’ve got to find your talent and use it to the best of your ability.’ For 66 years, I’ve been searching for my talent and never realized what I had. The fans have told me what my talent is: I’m good at making people laugh and I’m fun to be around. If I can’t have fun with it, then leave me out because I’m not going to do that!”
Ironically, earlier in the day, ALL ACCESS spoke with SIDEWALK RECORDS’ DYLAN SCOTT who is from MONROE, LA where “DUCK DYNASTY” is filmed. We asked SCOTT his thoughts about the show.
“It’s all scripted, but the way they act, the way they are, and the people they are is who they really are and I dig that,” said DYLAN. “I’ve always been of fan of ‘DUCK COMMANDER’ and ‘BUCK COMMANDER’ because I’m a big hunter. They’ve always been local celebrities and famous to us back home, but now they’ve taken it to a new level. I dig what they’re doing.”
That answer and more will be in our “10 Questions” feature with DYLAN SCOTT that will be posted on MONDAY (6/9).
