ALL ACCESS sends condolences to family and friends of LEE ROGERS, who passed away TODAY (6/11) in SANDY, OR of complications from a stroke suffered last week. He was 67.
As reported yesterday (NET NEWS 6/10), ROGERS had recently been moved to hospice care.
A 2011 COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME inductee, ROGERS’ 40-year career in radio included on-air and programming positions at Country outlets KMPS/SEATTLE, KEEY/MINNEAPOLIS and WQIK/JACKSONVILLE. He was most recently with KUPL/PORTLAND, where he served 15 years as OM, PD and morning personality before retiring in 2009.
He is survived by wife PEGGY, step daughter GINA, and son, LEE ROGERS JR.
No word on services.
