In a deal filed with the FCC TODAY (6/12), NEAL and ELIZABETH ARDMAN's RADIO STATESBORO has purchased six stations in STATESBORO, GA from GEORGIA EAGLE BROADCASTING for $600,000.
The stations include Adult Hits WMCD (HOTS 107.3)/CLAXTON, GA; AC WPMX (EAGLE 102.9), News-Talk WWNS-A (NEWSTALK 1240) and Sports WPTB-A (YAHOO SPORTS RADIO 850)/STATESBORO; Classic Rock WZBX (ROCK 106 FM)/ROCKY FORD, GA; and Country WHKN (BEST COUNTRY 94.9)/MILLEN, GA.
In other filings with the FCC, MARY MEDICUS is selling the construction permit for W284CF/JONESTOWN, PA to FAMILY LIFE MINISTRIES, INC. for $14,000.
THE SAVIOR'S VOICE BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for low power FM WSVV-LP/CENTER MORICHES, NY due to technical difficulties that may force the station to relocate and update its equipment.
KEVIN J. YOUNGERS has closed on the sale of W289CB/MILWAUKEE to ENTERCOM LICENSE, LLC for $300,000. The translator will rebroadcast WXSS-HD3/MILWAUKEE.
The estate of the late DONALD A. SWANSON has closed on the sale of Religion KZOI-A (formerly KTFJ-A)/DAKOTA CITY, NE-SIOUX CITY, IA to CUP O' DIRT LLC for $12,000.
And in the wake of the FCC ruling dismissing the challenge to the previous sale of the stations, EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS CORP. has closed on the purchase of Urban AC WBLS and Gospel WLIB-A/NEW YORK from YMF MEDIA for $131 million.
