The official paperwork for the sale of debtor-in-possession FREE LANCE-STAR PUBLISHING CO. OF FREDERICKSBURG, VA's stations -- Country WFLS, News-Talk WNTX-A-W234BS, Top 40/Rhythmic WVBX (99.3 THE VIBE), and Classic Rock WWUZ (96.9 THE ROCK)/FREDERICKSBURG, VA -- to creditor SANDTON CAPITAL's FREE LANCE-STAR LICENSE, INC. has been filed with the FCC, showing the purchase price as $6,405,056 plus $1.2 million in a credit bid covering outstanding obligations under Lender Loan Documents, cure amounts and assumption of certain liabilities. (The total bid, including the newspaper and printing facilities, included a credit bid of $13.9 million plus $16.3 million in cash.)
