Multi-Artist Tie For 'Song Of The Year'

The 2014 BMI CHRISTIAN AWARDS banquet was held last night in NASHVILLE, with the annual awards ceremony saluting the songwriters and publishers of the most played songs on Christian radio.
The invitation-only event kicked off with individual performances by American Idol alum DANNY GOKEY and emerging artist JON GUERRA.
Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies) was named Song Of The Year, written by CHRIS TOMLIN, ED CASH & SCOTT CASH. CAPITOL CMG was named Publisher Of The Year.
There was a six-way tie for Songwriter Of The Year. Trophies were awarded to MARK HALL, BRANDON HEATH, AARON LINDSEY, MATT MAHER, TOBYMAC & CHRIS TOMLIN.
BMI VP JODY WILLIAMS said, "I'm always amazed by the inspirational stories these songs provide to fans of Christian music and beyond. BMI is honored to represent the stakeholders of these meaningful copyrights."
