Who should run a record label? A business exec? Or, a musician, like GEFFEN's new Chairman, RON FAIR? According to an article in the L.A.TIMES (8/14) and INTERSCOPE GEFFEN A&M Chairman, and FAIR's boss, JIMMY IOVINE: "I'd always rather teach a music guy how to sell a record than try to teach a business guy how to make one. RON knows what a star looks like, and he knows how to produce a hit. The rest of the business is easy compared to that."
FAIR is responsible for such huge acts as CHRISTINA AGUILERA, the BLACK EYED PEAS and the PUSSYCAT DOLLS, to name but a few. Check out the full article, when you click here.
