Learfield Sports Acquires Licensing Resource Group

LEARFIELD SPORTS has agreed to acquire LICENSING RESOURCE GROUP for an undisclosed price.  LRG offers licensing, merchandising and brand marketing services for college athletics programs; its Pres./CEO LEWIS HARDY and CFO GENE WANDLING will remain with the company, and no staffing changes are being made as a result of the acquisition.

LEARFIELD President/CEO GREG BROWN said, "The LRG team has done a terrific job serving its collegiate partners, and we are thrilled to have them join the LEARFIELD family.  We are also excited to now offer a broader collection of services to our collegiate partners."
