Longtime PHOENIX radio vets TIM HATTRICK and WILLY D. LOON will end their syndicated “TIM AND WILLY SHOW” following FRIDAY’s (6/27) broadcast.
In a statement titled, “We are not getting fired” and posted on their official website, the pair said of the show’s conclusion, “The unfortunate reality is that the cost of starting and running our own company took its toll. Being our own bosses was hard! We found ourselves wearing so many hats- we just didn’t have enough heads! We spent too much time on things we’re not good at and it robbed us from the thing we do best. For this and other reasons we made the very difficult business decision to bring an end to our venture.”
The morning duo handled wakeups at both CBS RADIO Country KMLE and CLEAR CHANNEL’s crosstown KNIX for most of the past 21 years. After leaving KMLE a second time in 2012, they’d been streaming the show, joined by ANDREA HILAND, via SKYVIEW NETWORKS.
Additionally, the show aired on LINDA CORSO KRDE/SAN CARLOS, AZ, HOWARD HENDERSON Country KDAP/DOUGLAS and STEPHEN M GREELEY KJJJ/LAUGHLIN, NV (NET NEWS 8/27).
