UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS (USRN) announced today that the company will be distributing a new Alternative Rock weekend show called, "VIRGIN MOBILE ON AIR." The two hour program hosted by ABBEY BRADEN RAYMONDE, a NEW YORK CITY-based music ambassador and renowned music blogger, debuts the weekend of JULY 12th. The new program, which has related content online at http://virginmobileusa.podbean.com, is created and produced by MIKE YOUNG for DIGITAL BRAND CONNECTIONS (DBC).
In discussing the new program, USRN EVP/Programming ANDY DENEMARK commented, “With VIRGIN MOBILE ON AIR, there’s finally a program that connects the worlds of indie rock and commercial radio in a way that feels in sync with what’s happening in music. The show has a great sound and it touches on the right bands with the right on-air vibe … we’re really pleased to be partnering with DBC, with ABBEY and with this program.”
