The laughter will live on for all-Comedy radio after AUGUST 3rd, as the 24/7 COMEDY format's creator GEORGE GIMARC launches TODAY'S COMEDY, a continuation of the format for terrestrial radio with a unique customizable delivery system. Meanwhile, PREMIERE NETWORKS will continue the present 24/7 COMEDY as a digital-only stream via iHEARTRADIO; TODAY'S COMEDY will add a digital element by the end of the year.
GIMARC tells ALL ACCESS that current and new broadcast affiliates will be receiving the programming via Synchronicity, a cloud-based system that will send programming and logs via the Internet to be aired either in parallel with the network log or in different order, local material, or however else the affiliate chooses to run the material. "Every one of our stations can be highly personalized," GIMARC said.
Stations interested in signing up for TODAY'S COMEDY can reach GIMARC at (214) 228-5535 or george@todayscomedy.com. TODAY'S COMEDY's new website is at todayscomedy.com.
