WKYS Tweaks Lineup, Adds Shorty Da Prince

RADIO ONE Urban WKYS (93.9)/WASHINGTON D.C. has announced big changes to its lineup which take effect immediately. REACH MEDIA's RUSS PARR MORNING SHOW continues to anchor mornings. However the remainder of the weekdays will have a new look.
EZ STREET gets bumped up to middays, 10-3p, ANGE ANG is now PM drive 3-7p, and the newest addition SHORTY DA PRINCE takes over the 7-mid slot. DEJA PEREZ will continue KISS AFTER DARK mid-2a.
SHORTY joins the station after stints for RADIO ONE in CLEVELAND, DETROIT, and ST. LOUIS. He is also widely recognized as a former BET 106 & PARK host.
PD NEKE HOWSE told ALL ACCESS, "He is going to bring a different energy to the station. This is an exciting time for WKYS. Everyone brings their own uniqueness and energy."
