ADAMS RADIO/FT. WAYNE has acquired translator W277AK (103.3) and is rebroadcasting the HD2 channel off of AC sister WWFW (103.9) and has launched GREAT COUNTRY 103.3 -- featuring '80s-based artists like GARTH, CLINT BLACK, REBA, SHANIA, RANDY TRAVIS and others, as complement to sister Country WBTU (US 93.3).
REAL COUNTRY 103.3 and US 93.3 PD MARK ALLEN said "The music on GREAT COUNTRY 103.3 is the best Country music ever. The artists we play are the ones that redefined Country music. I am honored to have these legends on the air again in FORT WAYNE. It just doesn't get any better!
MARK added "It kicked off with ALAN JACKSON's 'Gone Country,' BARBARA MANDRELL's 'I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool' and ALABAMA's 'Born Country.'"
ADAMS/FT. WAYNE Market Mgr. SHEL LESHNER noted, "There is no doubt that FORT WAYNE is a big Country market and listeners 35-plus have been tremendously underserved for the past few years. The music of GREAT COUNTRY 103.3 is totally focused to super-serve those people who grew up listening to some of the best Country artists of all time!"
GREAT COUNTRY AND US 93.3 are consulted by KEITH CLARK of VALLEY-RICHARDS-DONOVAN.
