A street corner in NEW YORK has been named for the late longtime News WINS-A/NEW YORK reporter STAN BROOKS.
The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS reports that the corner of 43rd St. and 10th Ave. in MANHATTAN, where BROOKS and his wife lived, will sport a "STAN BROOKS WAY" sign in a move sponsored by Councilman COREY JOHNSON (D-MANHATTAN) and signed by Mayor BILL DE BLASIO on WEDNESDAY.
BROOKS died in DECEMBER at 86.
