ALL ACCESS has heard that a number of air talent in a variety of dayparts are out at some CCM+E stations. In some cases, they are being replaced at night by National Programming Platform VP/Special Programming Projects TIM HERBSTER, who is going by ROMEO, which he also uses on his PREMIERE-syndicated "SATURDAY NIGHT ONLINE LIVE WITH ROMEO" show.
Word is that ROMEO ON THE RADIO is now heard at night at WZFT/BALTIMORE, WHQC/CHARLOTTE, WDCG (G105)/RALEIGH, WRVW (107.5 THE RIVER)/NASHVILLE and several more for a total of nine stations so far. Most of the shifts ROMEO's taking are replacing current PREMIUM CHOICE, imported air talent, or some part-timers.
However, ROMEO is replacing TYLER FRYE for nights at Top 40 WDCG (G105)/RALEIGH. TYLER exits after almost three years. Reach him at (219) 314-0601 or tylerfryeonair@gmail.com.
In WASHINGTON, DC, Classic Rocker WBIG APD/afternoons/Production Dir. SKYY and the station part ways. Reach SKYY at pgasbarrini@gmail.com or (516) 637-7768.
Also leaving in DC is Alternative WWDC (DC101) middayer TESSA HALL. Reach her at tessahall@gmail.com.
