Chonda Pierce's Husband David Suffers Stroke

Christian comedian CHONDA PIERCE's husband DAVID is in the hospital following a stroke. Doctors had begun to pull him out of sedation, wanting to see if he would regain consciousness and allow them to assess the next steps of potential treatment.

CHONDA explained on FACEBOOK, "We had some difficult news this morning. DAVID has had a stroke in two areas of his brain. As we wait for all of the sedation to leave his body -- we now wait to see how much damage has been done.  My son has been by my side nonstop. He is such a comfort to me.   This has been particularly hard on him. He adores his father and loves him so completely unconditionally. Together, we face each step with GOD's grace. GOD knows where we are, He knows what we need and He will help us through all our days."
