A CAL POLY SAN LUIS OBISPO student-run KCPR/SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA show's offer to sell Snapchat pictures of the hosts' genitals and butts for $20 donations has the school thinking of selling the station, according to a report at CAL COAST NEWS.
Dean of the College of Liberal Arts DOUGLAS EPPERSON said in a MAY 19th email to Interim Dir. of Media Relations MATT LAZIER and Provost KATHLEEN ENZ FINKEN that he had been warned about problems with the station and "I am beginning to believe that we should sell the radio license (we have had an offer)." Another email by EPPERSON to Journalism Dept. Chair MARY GLICK and Associate Prof. RICHARD GEARHART complained that "it is just one problem after another at a much greater frequency and magnitude than the other student media outlets without nearly the educational value of the other media outlets."
The incident occurred in a FACEBOOK post from "GETTING IT IN," a show billed as "CAL POLY's Late Night Sex Talk Radio Show," which explicitly offered a "week of sexy Snapchats" for $20 donations in cash.
