And, for the first time ever, the FRIDAY/SATURDAY LEARNING CONFERENCE will be held in partnership with the MINNESOTA BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION.
The day-and-a-half event kicks off with a Radio & TV Career Fair and Air Check Clinic on FRIDAY afternoon, NOVEMBER 14th, followed by a special keynote from EMMIS COMMUNICATION Pres./CEO JEFF SMULYAN on the NEXTRADIO® mobile platform. A gala reception concludes the first day of the combined MBA and CONCLAVE LEARNING CONFERENCE.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15th features three distinct tracks:
**The Programming and Talent Track will feature interactive sessions concentrating on programming emphasizing advanced talent development.
**The Management Track will focus on adapting to emerging digital platforms, improving management skills, and how to enhance employee recruitment and retention.
**Finally, the Sales Track will feature sessions covering everything from the basics to developing new digital revenue streams. SATURDAY highlights include a kick-off keynote, a unique luncheon, and a not-to-be-missed send-off cocktail reception to conclude the day.
A complete agenda will be available shortly on the CONCLAVE website.
CONCLAVE BOARD Chairman MARK BOLKE explained, "This will be a very unique Learning Conference, held in partnership with the MBA. We polled owners, managers, air-talent and industry leaders for their input on the best timing and necessary content for this event. Armed with that data we intend to continue the CONCLAVE tradition of presenting a valuable, cutting-edge learning experience made deeper with the agenda input and partnership of the MINNESOTA BROADCAST ASSOCIATION. Programmers, talent, sellers, managers, and future broadcasters will all benefit from this streamlined event.”
MINNESOTA BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION Pres./CEO JIM du BOIS added, "We're proud to partner with the CONCLAVE in presenting a unique educational and networking opportunity for our state members and the industry, with a special emphasis on emerging technologies that are constantly expanding the platforms for content delivery. The MBA is thrilled to tap the expertise and reputation of the CONCLAVE to jointly create a unique learning experience!"
The introductory tuition for the 2014 LEARNING CONFERENCE is just $249 until AUGUST 31st, 2014; the CONCLAVE website is now hosting on-line registration for the event. When MBA registration begins on July 30th, its members will receive a discounted tuition rate by contacting the MBA directly.
