CUMULUS Alternative WNNX (99X)/ATLANTA inks middayer/Director Of Specialty Programs STEVE CRAIG for another two years with APD duties.
99X PD LESLIE FRAM said, "STEVE has been here from the beginning, even before the beginning! He is a household name in ATLANTA and the station's true musicologist. His programming background and true understanding of the format makes him the perfect APD! I look forward to closing out a second decade working together!"
"It's a rare honor and priviledge to be part of 99X since the very beginning in 1992, and to continue that honor with the incredible people at Cumulus (Media Partners) is truly awesome,! said CRAIG. "99X has been my life for almost 15 years and now having the opportunity to work even more closely with LESLIE FRAM, MIKE FOWLER (GM) VAL GARRIS (Sr. VP Rock/Cumulus), ROB ROBERTS (OM), and JOHN DICKEY makes that life even more exciting."
In other station news, "FOLK FEST 2006" hits ATLANTA AUGUST 18-20 at the NORTH ATLANTA TRADE CENTER, with over 90 galleries featuring works from the countries’ best folk artists. This year 99X PD LESLIE FRAM really wanted the radio station to be more involved than just a source for advertising. FRAM turned her passion for Southern Folk Art into invitation for her favorite ALABAMA folk artist CHARLIE LUCAS to display and sell his art at a 99X sponsored booth manned all weekend by FRAM.
