Condolences to family and friends of FRESH AIR, INC. noncommercial Variety KFAI/ST. PAUL public affairs show host ANDY DRISCOLL, who died SUNDAY in ST. PAUL after a battle with esophageal cancer and strokes at 74, according to the ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS.

DRISCOLL, described by wife CYNTHIA CRIST as "not afraid" of being labeled liberal or progressive, produced and hosted "TRUTHTOTELL" on the station since 2006 and produced varions projects for public television; He was also politically active, serving on several public committees and running for ST. PAUL City Council in 1993 and 1997.  He made national news last year when he cited an ONION parody story about drones flying over the second OBAMA inauguration as fact.
