The COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM will debut a new exhibit, "ALAN JACKSON: 25 YEARS OF KEEPIN' IT COUNTRY" on FRIDAY, AUGUST 29th. The exhibit will highlight JACKSON's 25-YEAR career and will run through MARCH 2015.
JACKSON will also serve as the museum's next Artist-In-Residence with intimate performances later this YEAR. The exhibit will offer a deep look in to JACKSON's personal life and career. Fans will be able to view awards, instruments, clothes, personal mementos, albums, and music videos from throughout JACKSON's career. Notable artifacts will include the water ski JACKSON rode in the "Chattahoochee" music video, handwritten manuscripts of multiple hit songs, numerous industry awards, and the guitar he played on the CMA AWARDS as he debuted "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)."
"This exhibit will be a rare treat for museum visitors," stated COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM Director KYLE YOUNG. "Fans will recognize artifacts from milestone moments in ALAN's career, as well as items from his life away from the stage that are as personal as many of the songs he has penned over the YEARS. This exhibit and his Artist-In-Residence shows this FALL are not to be missed."
Earlier this SUMMER, JACKSON announced plans for a tour to coincide with the opening of the exhibition and his 25th Anniversary (NET NEW 6/5). For more information about the exhibit, visit www.countrymusichalloffame.org.
