UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS will air a three-hour special in honor of the landmark 40th anniversary boxed set of historic 1974 concert material from CROSBY, STILLS, NASH & YOUNG. The release, titled CSNY 1974, will provide the central material for the radio special , which will also include new, exclusive interviews with key members of the band as well as with the co-producers of the boxed set.
The special, hosted by DEREK MADDEN of KLOS/LOS ANGELES, will be broadcast nationally on LABOR DAY weekend AUGUST 30th-SEPTEMBER 1st.
Produced by GRAHAM NASH and JOEL BERNSTEIN, CSNY 1974 captures the band’s harmonic alchemy during its outdoor stadium tour that consisted of 31 concerts in 24 cities, that attracted over a million people. “JOEL BERNSTEIN, STANLEY JOHNSTON and I knew that there was fine music that was played on the ’74 tour, we just had to search and find it,” GRAHAM NASH said. “We hope you enjoy the experience.”
