Jeff Roper Exits WTGR; Heads To TV

QANTAM Country WGTR (GATOR 107.9)/MYRTLE BEACH OM/PD/Morning Host JEFF ROPER has resigned his position.  TODAY (7/25) will be his last day, ending a seven MONTH tenure with the group (NET NEWS 1/2).  ROPER will return to SAN ANTONIO where he will transition to television, where he is set to host POST-NEWSWEEK's KSAT-TV afternoon talk show "SA LIVE," debuting MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th.

ROPER most recently exited COX's KCYY/SAN ANTONIO.  His resume includes previous stops at Country outlets CLEAR CHANNEL WTQR/GREENSBORO, CBS RADIO WSOC/CHARLOTTE and CLEAR CHANNEL WCOS/COLUMBIA, SC.
