Condolences to family and friends of longtime NPR reporter MARGOT ADLER, who died MONDAY (7/28) at 68 after a battle with cancer at her home in NEW YORK, according to NPR.org. ADLER joined NPR in 1979 and most recently served as a reporter on the network's Arts Desk. He book, "Out For Blood," about society's interest in vampires, was recently published.
In a memo to staff, VP for News MARGARET LOW SMITH said of ADLER, "Her reporting was singular and her voice distinct. There was almost no story that MARGOT couldn't tell."
