CLEAR CHANNEL News-Talk KEX-A/PORTLAND has shuffled its lineup, moving afternoon host MICHAEL CASTNER to mornings. replacing PAUL LINNMAN, who has moved to a commentary role.
CASTNER, the former host of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL RADIO NETWORK's "THE DAILY WRAP," host at CLEAR CHANNEL News-Talk WRNO (RUSH RADIO 99.5)/NEW ORLEANS, and news reporter/anchor at CLEAR CHANNEL News-Talk KFI-A/LOS ANGELES and BONNEVILLE News-Talk KSL-A-F/SALT LAKE CITY, will be accompanied by co-anchor LACEY EVANS, News Director BRAD FORD, and traffic reporters MICHAEL CONVERY and LYNNE MASTERSON.
VP/Programming/PORTLAND MARK ADAMS told ALL ACCESS, “MICAHEL’s experience and winning track record across radio and TV coupled with a strong background in news, politics, and entertainment makes him the perfect choice to host mornings on KEX.”
CASTNER's move means that MICHAEL BERRY's HOUSTON-based syndicated show is moving up from 5-10p to 3-7p, and SAN ANTONIO-based "JOE PAGS" PAGLIARULO is in for 7-10p.
