At the end of a profile centering on her activity supporting Tea Party-endorsed candidates in Republican primaries, syndicated talk host LAURA INGRAHAM tells LONDON's SUNDAY TIMES that she has been approached to run for office and she has not ruled that prospect out.
INGRAHAM, whose show is syndicated by COURTSIDE ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, told the TIMES' TOBY HARNDEN, "I've been approached by various people to get involved. I'm keeping an open mind about running for office in the future."
INGRAHAM was given credit for being an influence in ERIC CANTOR's primary loss in VIRGINIA; she has been stumping for JOE CARR in his race against longtime incumbent Sen. LAMAR ALEXANDER (R-TN) in the AUGUST 7th TENNESSEE Republican primary, with a focus on CARR's opposition to immigration reform that would include amnesty for those already in the country.
