DEBRA GROBMAN and RITA RICH are celebrating reaching the three-year mark with their "PATRIOT-MADE AUDIOCAST," featuring U.S.-based inventors, entrepreneurs and small- and mid-sized companies, artists, designers, and musicians.
The LOS ANGELES-based GROBMAN said, “The PATRIOT-MADE AUDIOCAST is a Made in the USA podcast production and the appetite for positive stories about American inventors, designers, artists and musicians is great throughout NORTH AMERICA." RICH, based in WASHINGTON, said, “As I talk to people about their work, I learned that patriotism and pride in being American is the bedrock of so many of their stories.”
GROBMAN added, “Even those who are focused on the same marketplace realize how much energy is derived from hearing stories about their competitors. It helps them thrive on the job. Everyone we’ve encountered likes to hear our stories, because they feel encouraged by their hardworking and entrepreneurial spirit, and that’s where PATRIOT-MADE AUDIOCAST comes in.... Consumers are looking for fellowship and a sense of connectedness everywhere, including the marketplace. RITA and I present stories that make the people who make stuff and present ideas as more human and real. That way folks will want to spend money on goods made in the USA. Put a good story behind the things people buy and you make it worth it.”
The show has focused on brands like VERMONT TEDDY BEAR CO., the inventors of items like The Headbone, Wine-a-Rita, and FreshTape; and artists like STEPHEN SAID, RACHEL BARTON PINE, NELL ROBINSON and JIM NUNELLY.
