Len Belzer Dies; Brother Of Richard Belzer Hosted Syndicated 'The Comedy Hour'

Condolences to family and friends of LEN BELZER, the brother of comedian RICHARD BELZER and the former host of the syndicated radio show "THE COMEDY HOUR."  LEN BELZER died TODAY (7/30) after apparently jumping from the roof of his apartment building in NEW YORK; he was 73.

LEN BELZER, who also worked as a psychiatric social worker t NEW YORK HOSPITAL's PAYNE WHITNEY CLINIC and taught English to immigrants at RIVERSIDE CHURCH in MANHATTAN, and his wife, "SESAME STREET" director EMILY SQUIRES, co-wrote the book "Spiritual Places In And Around NEW YORK CITY" in 2000.  SQUIRES passed away in 2012.  BELZER's father CHARLES committed suicide in 1968.
