JASON LEWIS had indicated that he would be leaving his GENESIS COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK-syndicated talk show on AUGUST 1st, but he left a little early, reports the ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS. LEWIS, whose MINNEAPOLIS-based show was heard on CLEAR CHANNEL News-Talk KTCN-A (NEWS TALK AM 1130)/MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, quit on the air in the middle of THURSDAY's show.
LEWIS, who hosted at KOA-A/DENVER, KSTP-A/ST. PAUL, WBT-A/CHARLOTTE, and KTCN's predecessor KTLK/MINNEAPOLIS as well as PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS before his most recent stint with GENESIS, launched a libertarian website, GALT.IO, earlier this year, named after the hero of AYN RAND's "Atlas Shrugged," and posted on his Twitter feed, "Today I left the radio biz for something better," with a link to that site and the hashtag #GoingGalt.
At WTCN, Pres./Market Manager MIKE CRUSHAM said that the station will air sister CLEAR CHANNEL News-Talk WOAI-A/SAN ANTONIO's "JOE PAGS" PAGLIARULO in LEWIS' slot.
