After five years with SAUDI ARAMCO RADIO STUDIO 2-FM/DHAHRAN, SAUDI ARABIA PD ROBERT LONDON is leaving to return home to ST. LOUIS where he previously worked for 23 years as the APD/MD for CBS Radio AC KEZK.
According to OM JAMES BAKER, "ROB leaves, after transforming STUDIO 2-FM from a strictly background station to an active station with four vibrant and unique formats that include Chill, Smooth Jazz, World Music and Classical in block form."
ROB LONDON commented, "It’s been an amazing five years that has gone by very quickly. And we’ve done some interesting things on STUDIO 2-FM in that time. Not only did we rebuild the studios and re-brand the station, management challenged us to create two formats for its diverse multicultural workforce. What we came up with was Chill, a laid back, listen-at-work-type format block, and TODAY's WORLD MIX, a Hot AC format block featuring artists from around the world. After updating the Smooth Jazz and Classical Music format blocks STUDIO 2-FM’s buzz was back. What a great experience, and I leave with mixed feelings."
