WILV Brings Robb Rose Back For Nights

HUBBARD BROADCASTING  Adult Hits WILV/CHICAGO has named ROBB ROSE as its new nights host, effectively AUGUST 11th, although he will spend this week filling in for CARA CARRIVEAU's afternoon shift, CHICAGORADIOANDMEDIA.COM reports. CARRIVEAU segued from nights to afternoons after the departure of afternooner JANE MONZURES.

ROSE previously did weekends/fill-in on the station when it was known as REWIND 100.3. Most recently, he was OM for the CAPITOL RADIO GROUP in SPRINGFIELD, IL, overseeing six stations.

"We set the bar pretty high with this particular hire," WILV PD MARTY BENDER wrote in an internal memo. "We were looking for someone with an overall great radio background and had on-air experience in all the key dayparts. Thus, he will be handling all the key weekday full-time fill-ins."
