SCBA Sets Fall Radio And Digital Sales Training Classes

The SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION (SCBA) announced today their exclusive fall 2014 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BROADCASTERS UNIVERSITY (SCBU) Radio Sales Training Classes, which are set to begin SEPTEMBER 15th in LOS ANGELES. The 10-week SCBU Radio and Digital Sales Training Classes will be taught by some of the leading sales managers in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Radio, as well as senior training specialists from NIELSEN AUDIO, INC.
“The SCBU Radio Sales Training System is the only one of its kind in CALIFORNIA,” said SCBA Pres. THOM CALLAHAN. “Our goal is to fully train and prepare new and newer sellers for a lasting and rewarding Radio sales career in the largest revenue market in the U.S.”
The SCBU Radio Sales Training System is focused on New Business Development, Creative Selling Skills, Selling Sports Sponsorships and Events, Understanding Audience Measurement, Strategic Selling, The Art of Cold Calling, and more. Class size is limited to ensure that all SCBU students receive a quality sales training experience.
“Our Fall 2014 classes will be more innovative and interactive than ever as we introduce a proposal development workshop, an expanded “sales hotline” for class homework assignments, and one on one coaching and mentoring beyond class graduation,” CALLAHAN said.
