Aaron Trimmer Named Dir./Talk Programming At Clear Channel/Richmond

CLEAR CHANNEL News-Talk WHAM-A and Sports WHTK-A (SPORTS 1280)/ROCHESTER PD AARON TRIMMER has moved to sister News-Talk WRVA-A and Sports WRNL-A (SPORTS RADIO 910)/RICHMOND as Dir./Talk Programming.  TRIMMER, a RICHMOND native who will also oversee VIRGINIA NEWS NETWORK and news and sports for the cluster's FM music stations, replaces JIMMY BARRETT, who will continue as morning host, at WRVA and MICHAEL CLIFFORD, who is moving to another role with the cluster, at WRNL.

TRIMMER has been a News-Talk programmer for almost 20 years, with WERC-F/BIRMINGHAM, WLAP-A/LEXINGTON, and WGST-A/ATLANTA on his resumé; he worked at WRVA as a producer and at sister WRXL (XL102) as a host before moving into programming.  He began his new position TODAY (8/4).
