WFTL's Rich Stevens Nabs First Interview With Judge Who Battled DUI Charge

JAMES CRYSTAL RADIO News-Talk WFTL-A/MIAMI-FORT LAUDERDALE-WEST PALM BEACH's RICH STEVENS got an exclusive with the first interview with a BROWARD COUNTY judge who made headlines with her MAY DUI arrest after which she blamed her crash on Ambien.  The appearance drew coverage on all of the major TV news shows in the market.

On MONDAY's show, Judge LYNN ROSENTHAL made her first public comments on the case, in which she was initially accused of DUI for hitting a police car and repeatedly slamming into a gate at the BROWARD COUNTY courthouse, but pleaded the charge down to reckless driving, claiming that she had taken Ambien.

ROSENTHAL was seen on video from the BROWARD Sheriff's Office refusing blood and urine tests, and she told STEVENS that she refused because there was no fatality or injury; she did, however, take and pass a breathalyzer test.
