CBS RADIO Sports WXYT-F (97.1 THE TICKET)/DETROIT morning hosts MIKE STONE and BILL MCALLISTER got a celebrity rebuke after they wondered why Aquaman would be included in the upcoming "BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE," taking an impromptu phone call from the film's director ZACK SNYDER in which the filmmaker defended one of the least popular JUSTICE LEAGUE members.
SNYDER, on his way to the set of the movie FRIDAY morning in DETROIT and listening to the STONEY AND BILL WITH SARA show, decided to defend Aquaman when he heard the hosts disparage the character, but would not completely confirm rumors that the character will indeed appear in the highly anticipated Batman-Superman movie. "It's not to say that he's in the movie or anything like that,” SNYDER told STONEY and BILL. “But he has the potential to be bad ass.” SNYDER joked, You can just assume that 24 hours a day I’m listening to the radio. So if you guys want to talk … assume that I’ll be calling in. I don’t want to encourage you to say stuff.”
The movie is slated for a MARCH 25th, 2016 premiere.
