KIRSTEN KENDRICK, former KIRO-A/SEATTLE reporter and deputy communications dir. for WASHINGTON Gov. GARY LOCKE, has been named local host of NPR's "MORNING EDITION" on noncommercial KPLU/TACOMA-SEATTLE, reports the SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER's BILL VIRGIN. KENDRICK replaces PAIGE HANSEN, who remains with the station on a part-time basis.
