Former WAVE/Louisville PD, GM James Caldwell Dies

Condolences to family and friends of former ORION BROADCASTING executive JAMES M. CALDWELL, who died TUESDAY in LOUISVILLE at 87. CALDWELL started at WAVE-A/LOUISVILLE in 1946 as News Director and later became PD, then GM and eventually President of the radio station and VP of ORION, the station's parent company, overseeing WAVE-TV, WAVE-A, and other radio and TV stations. He also served as a state representative for JEFFERSON COUNTY's 34th District.
