KFWB ASSET TRUST News-Talk KFWB-A/LOS ANGELES has announced that, as widely expected, JIM ROME will be in the lineup when the station flips to Sports using CBS SPORTS RADIO in SEPTEMBER. ROME's syndicated show has been off the analog airways in his home market of LOS ANGELES since he moved from PREMIERE NETWORKS to CBS SPORTS RADIO in JANUARY 2013. He previously aired on crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KLAC-A.
ROME said, "I am so thrilled to be returning home to LOS ANGELES on KFWB. CBS SPORTS RADIO has provided me with an incredible opportunity to communicate with our nationwide audience via various platforms, but to reunite with our L.A.-based fans is particularly meaningful to me, personally and professionally. I look forward to bringing the jungle back home to LOS ANGELES."
KFWB ASSET TRUST Trustee DIANE SUTTER said, "It's been nearly two years since Southern Californians have been able to enjoy JIM's show and he is just a hint of what listeners can expect from the new KFWB sports lineup. We're thrilled and excited to bring Jim back home to his many L.A. sports fans."
ROME can be heard in parts of the market on adjacent-market BCA Sports XEPRS-A (THE MIGHTY 1090)/SAN DIEGO and on CBS RADIO Adult Hits KCBS-F (93.1 JACK FM)/LOS ANGELES' HD2 channel, which currently airs CBS SPORTS RADIO.
