HOWARD N. HENDERSON is selling Spanish Religion KDAP-A (RADIO CRISTIANA)/DOUGLAS, AZ to ALEX GOODMAN for $55,000 ($3,000 earnest payment at signing, $7,000 at closing, $45,000 in a ten year promissory note).
In other filings with the FCC, FORDHAM UNIVERSITY is selling W233BM/BEACON, NY to SUNRISE BROADCASTING CORPORATION for a price redacted from the contract filed with the Commission.
And EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling the construction permit for K240EE/BAKERSFIELD, CA to AMERICAN GENERAL MEDIA's AGM CALIFORNIA, INC. for $25,000 plus a modification of the parties' lease agreement. Like AGM's recent purchase of K295AZ/BUTTONWILLOW, CA from FIRST VENTURES CAPITAL PARTNERS, INC., K240EE is listed as rebroadcasting AGM's Talk KERN-A/BAKERSFIELD.
Also, PUEBLO BROADCASTING GROUP LLC has applied to move Top 40/Rhythmic KJQY (POWER 103.3)/COLORADO CITY, CO from 103.3 FM to 103.1 FM with the same technical facilities and location due to interference from a WAY MEDIA translator and WAY MEDIA not willing to move channels despite having already been granted a permit for a new frequency with more power at the same location, receipt of interference complaints from listeners, and PUEBLO BROADCASTING offering to pay for installation of the new antenna and run ads promoting the channel change. The interfering translator is not named in the application, but WAY MEDIA operates K276FL/COLORADO SPRINGS on 103.1 FM with a permit to move to 92.5 FM.
