Two Inducted To Nebraska Broadcasters Association Hall Of Fame

The NEBRASKA BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION has inducted former NEBRASKA EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION GM ROD BATES and longtime CBS TV executive LYNNE GRASZ-HALL to its Hall of Fame at an AUGUST 13th ceremony during the NBA's convention in LINCOLN.
Both inductees have radio on their resumés: BATES, who joined NET in 1975, served as GM of both radio and television for the statewide network from 1996 until his retirement in 2013, while GRASZ-HALL, the former head of PROMAX and the TELEVISION INFORMATION OFFICE who rose from Dir./Creative Services at then-CBS O&O KMOX-TV (now KMOV-TV)/ST. LOUIS to Dir./Communications and Exec. Producer for the CBS Broadcast Group, was News Dir. at the UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA's KNUS/LINCOLN in 1963-66 before embarking on a television career as Promotion Dir. at KOLN-TV/LINCOLN-KGIN-TV/GRAND ISLAND in 1966.
