Cape Cod Broadcasting Honors Dave Read, Donna Credit For Their Longevity

CAPE COD BROADCASTING (CCB) is honoring two of its longest-tenured air personalities. AC WOCN (OCEAN 104.7)/CAPE COD morning man DAVE READ has been broadcasting on the CAPE for 35 years, while midday host DONNA CREDIT celebrated her 20th year on-air.

DAVE was feted by the CCB MEDIA staff at a brunch held in his honor this morning. “DAVE understands the importance of local radio and the connection with listeners, the community and our clients,” CCB MEDIA owner GREG BONE said.  “DAVE learned weather from his mentor DON KENT, and he has that same commitment to doing whatever it takes to provide critical storm coverage to our community.  But he has a lot of fun too ... oh, those puns ... if you don’t get the first one you can be sure another one’s coming!”

“We are honored to work with DAVE everyday here at CCB," GM BEVERLY TILDEN said. "He is a role model for the staff. His connection with the community and dedication to his work both in the station and around the CAPE is a roadmap for any new talent hoping to be a success in the radio business.”

“I enjoy the creativity of radio and the challenge to keep it fresh and interesting," DAVE said, "I guess some people think I’m doing a good job, ‘cause I’m still here!”
