The WALL STREET JOURNAL reports that GLENN BECK's THEBLAZE discussed the possibility of partnering with CNN to overhaul CNN's HLN cable news network but couldn't agree on terms.
The article by KEACH HAGEY says that the deal would have been a joint venture between CNN parent TIME WARNER and THE BLAZE that would have replaced the current HLN lineup, best known for NANCY GRACE's show, with programming from BECK's THEBLAZE online network.
The subscription video version of THEBLAZE is available online and via DISH NETWORK and has pursued carriage on other video carriers. Meanwhile, TIME WARNER also has discussed creating a new cable network in partnership with VICE MEDIA.
