SBE Re-Elects Meredith's Joseph Snelson President

The SOCIETY OF BROADCAST ENGINEERS has re-elected JOSEPH SNELSON to a second term as President. SNELSON, who is VP/Engineering at MEREDITH CORP., will begin his new term on OCTOBER 30th.
The organization also re-elected ENTERCOM corporate regional engineer SOUTHEAST and GREENVILLE cluster Director of Engineering JERRY MASSEY to another term as VP. Re-elected for a fourth term as Secretary is CLEAR CHANNEL/SOUTH FLORIDA Director of Engineering and IT JIM LEIFER, while ANDREA CUMMIS, consultant and owner of AC VIDEO SOLUTIONS ANDREA CUMMIS has won re-election as Treasurer for a second term.
Elected to two-year terms as directors on the board were GATESAIR's TIM ANDERSON, CLEAR CHANNEL/CHARLOTTE's BENJAMIN BRINITZER, CUMULUS MEDIA's GARY KLINE, TEXAS A&M's WAYNE PECENA, CBS RADIO/WASHINGTON's KIN SACKS, and CBS RADIO/PHOENIX' ERIC SCHECHTER. Five other directors have one year left in their two-year terms, including COX MEDIA GROUP/CHARLOTTE's TED HAND, TELOS' KIRK HARNACK, WGBW-WLWB/TWO RIVERS, WI's MARK KELLER, consultant CHED KEILER, and MEINTEL, SGRIGNOLI & WALLACE's DENNIS WALLACE.
The induction will take place at the SBE's annual meeting in VERONA, NY on OCTOBER 8th.
