DG SYSTEMS has retained SOUTHWEST SECURITIES to "explore a range of strategic alternatives intended to enhance shareholder value," meaning that SOUTHWEST will look at a possible sale or merger of the company or sale of securities or assets of the company. DG is set to announce third quarter results in mid-NOVEMBER.
