Z96.5/Kalamazoo Renews As Western Michigan U. Sports Flagship

WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY sports will continue on MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS stations in the KALAMAZOO market under a contract extension with the BRONCO RADIO NETWORK.
Alternative WZOX (Z96.5)/KALAMAZOO remains the flagship for BRONCOS football, men’s basketball, and hockey, with some conflict hockey games bumped to sister Talk WKZO-A. Sister Alternative WVIC (94.1 THE EDGE)/LANSING will continue as a football affiliate, as will CLEAR CHANNEL Rock WBFX (101.3 THE BREW)/GRAND RAPIDS.
Basketball will also air on CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WMAX-F (96.1 ESPN)/GRAND RAPIDS, and CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WDFN-A/DETROIT will air selected football and basketball games. ROBIN HOOK returns to call football with JOHN CREEK handling color.
