Taylor Swift: '1989' Gets A Kick Start

ALL ACCESS congratulates BIG MACHINE RECORDS and TAYLOR SWIFT on selling 544,000 first-week digital downloads of “Shake It Off,” according to NIELSEN SOUNDSCAN.

The debut single from SWIFT’s upcoming pop album, “1989” is the highest weekly total of 2014 so far and the fourth-best all-time.

In fact, with this week’s number, SWIFT now holds two of the top four slots; her 2012 single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” moved 623,000 downloads in SEPTEMBER of 2012.
