ZZ TOP has been forced off their double-billed tour with JEFF BECK because of an injury sustained by the band's bassist, DUSTY HILL. All dates starting with tonight's show in CLARKSTON, MI through the end of the tour SEPTEMBER 4th have been suspended, with refunds available to ticketholders through point of purchase.
BECK and his band -- vocalist JIMMY HALL, bassist RHONDA SMITH, drummer JONATHAN JOSEPH and guitarist NICOLAS MEIER -- will play three previously scheduled dates with opener TYLER BRYANT at SALAMANCA, NY (8/29), ATLANTIC CITY (8/30), and FOXWOODS (8/31).In addition, dates scheduled for WEST PALM BEACH, TAMPA, ST. AUGUSTINE, ATLANTA, THACKENVILLE, and HOUSTON will potentially be rescheduled. Patrons should hold onto their ticket stubs for a possible future announcement.
“While we are very disappointed to not continue this tour with ZZ TOP, our thoughts and best wishes are for DUSTY to have a speedy recovery,” said BECK.
