The FCC will be the topic again at another House Communications and Technology Subcommittee meeting on SEPTEMBER 17th.
Chairman GREG WALDEN (R-OR) has called the meeting to talk about the agency's management and spending, as well as the committee’s requests for documents on the commission’s workload and backlog. FCC Managing Dir. JON WILKINS and Inspector General DAVID HUNT are scheduled to testify.
WALDEN said, "Continuous oversight of federal agencies ensures that government works in the best interests of the people it serves. This hearing will help us learn more about the commission’s processes and results, which will inform our work moving forward, including on a #CommActUpdate.”
